Be aware that your message will have a completely different impact on different audiences. News that might raise cheers from the shareholders could easily bring boos and hissing from the workforce.
You must research your audience to determine what their reaction is likely to be to the message you want to deliver. Talk to your colleagues and use as many sources as you can to build a profile of your audience.
